BODIS is combining land subsidence, climate and flooding data into economic impact on asset-level to help users mitigate these impacts.
This information service for financial stakeholders, is based on a combination of satellite SAR data, a novel subsidence estimation algorithm, and other geodata information. BODIS combines spatial resolution, temporal sampling, and precision at similar high levels to assess value at risk due to subsidence (broken down to risk per building). Moreover, we extrapolate historical subsidence data, then update flood models, and, hence, update flood risk, finally translating to economic risk. All bundled into a seamlessly and easy to interpret service.
